Orebank Missionary Baptist Church Welcomes new staff! |
|
Orebank Missionary Baptist Church would like to welcome David Bolden as their new youth minister. Brother Bolden led the youth in preparing a skit this summer for a worship service and on an outing to Doe River Gorge. VBS, held in June averaged 128 with one high school youth giving his heart to Jesus. Brother Bolden had the privilege of baptizing him in July. Three of OMBC’s members participated in a mission trip to Belize in July, where they presented a VBS for the children. The first Sunday of each month, Orebank’s puppet ministry hosts "Sonfest" (children’s church) in the Christian Life center for children ages 4 through fifth grade. The children enjoy food and games while they are taught about Jesus. The church has baptized 2 people this year with an additional 6 joining the church. |
