In 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, we are told to rejoice, pray and give thanks: “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” Last time we looked at rejoicing: today we will focus on praying. |

Work is underway for our missions partnership in Mexico. Several church planting projects are getting off the ground in Playa del Carmen in the Yucatan Peninsula, including several English-speaking congregations. They are also working towards an association of churches to help the local pastors in their efforts of reaching this highly unchurched area. Throughout the summer and fall, we will be working with the missionaries to determine exactly how we can partner with them in their work, hopefully in early 2010.
