One of my favorite leaders in the Old Testament is Elijah. And perhaps my favorite Elijah story is what happens after his greatest victory. 1 Kings 18 records the great victory that God provides as He wipes out the prophets of Baal – all 450 of them. The bad guys are dead – the good guys win – and God receives the glory. It’s a new day and everyone rejoices!
